Some of most popular regions of Cyprus include; Paphos, Larnaca, and Limassol. The main Airport in Cyprus is situated in Larnaca. Larnaca also houses the Agios Lazaros Church which was the biblical temple where Lazarus the friend of Jesus Christ worshipped. Also available in Larnaca includes; The district Archaeological Museum, the Byzantine museum, and the pierides museum. Larnaca is a very beautiful place, its harbor consists of esplanade which are lined up with huge palm trees, cafes and Taverns.
The region of Limassol {also known as Lemesos} is the industrial region of Cyprus. The wine industry for instance makes the Limassol region of Cyprus very unique and popular. Wine celebrations are held in Limassol every September on annual basis. Apart from the wine carnivals, other carnivals also attract both local and international tourists who converge on Carnival decorated floats characterized by dancing and merriments. The region of Paphos hosts a lot of Biblical references. Paphos was one of the places where Apostle Paul visited and preached in the biblical age. Paphos also used to be the region where traditional worshippers reside in the old Biblical times and it has a lot of Archaeological sites.
Every region of Cyprus is worth visiting. The gardens, shopping complexes, beaches are so refreshing and captivating. Cyprus weather is sunny most of the time with temperatures occasionally rising to around 35 degree Celsius. It’s a place to enjoy the summer.
